Easy to find ingredients you have in your fridge or pantry.

¼ cup lemon juice, ¼ cup olive oil, ¾ cup plain yogurt, 4 cloves garlic, minced, 2 teaspoons tomato paste, 1 ½ teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, ¼ teaspoon ground allspice, ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ⅛ teaspoon ground cardamom, 1kg skinless, boneless chicken breast – cut into Cubes 2-inch pieces
2 onions, cut into large chunks, 1 large green bell pepper, cut into large chunks, 1 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley.


Whisk together all marinade ingredients. Place marinade in a large zip lock bag and add chicken breasts. Allow to marinate at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Remove chicken from bag and discard marinade. Cook chicken on the grill over medium heat 5-6 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
Suggested serving options: cooked rice, extra cilantro, Indian flatbread (naan) and mango chutney.
